TechSherpas 365 has an opening for a Business Operations Specialist to join our growing team.  This person will work closely with nationwide government agencies to establish IT certification training programs.  These programs are designed to assist individuals develop relevant skillset and credentialing to secure high-demand technical jobs.  Additionally, this role involves planning, coordinating, and applying expertise in determining training and learning needs for new and current clients, along with distribution and proper operation of course materials, computing equipment, licenses, hardware devices, and software applications related to the training. 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily.  

Essential Functions: 

  • Manage Workforce vendor application processes 
  • Facilitate cross-channel feedback from clients, individual contributors, and senior leadership  
  • Observe, review and analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made 
  • Design and maintain clear operational guides, work instructions, and processes to ensure consistency of operations 
  • Manage operations and related costs necessary to achieve goals of training projects and activities 
  • Research and gather required data to evaluate training objectives, goals, and scope of training projects and technical specifications 
  • Estimate level of effort, resource and infrastructure demands required to successfully implement training projects and activities  
  • Coordinate distribution of training activity content and technical materials 
  • Coordinate the strategic planning process for the development and implementation of integrated strategic plans, policies, and processes 
  • Manage, analyze and report training activity and course enrollment analytics, monitor progress, identify enrollment variances, and negotiate and implement a change management plan 
  • Serve as interface and liaison for the client community, internal sales and business development team  
  • Develop and establish appropriate communications and manage a proactive approach to information dissemination to all levels of the organization 
  • Examine and evaluate best practices of other departments, governments, agencies, or private sector organizations for potential departmental process improvements  

Education and Experience:  

  • High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
  • 1+ years experience in operations, project management, or supply chain roles 
  • 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office suites: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc. 

 Preferred Additional Skills/Education: 

  • Associates or Bachelors degree 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform 
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform 
  • 1+ years experience with basic profit and loss reporting 
  • 1+ years experience applying Six Sigma process improvement methodology 
  • Six Sigma Green belt certification
